Pakistani Wedding or a Fool’s Paradise?

How can one spend their life time savings in a wedding just to please people when they know it's a goldbrick and have no ROI?

A few years from now you’d see a bride landing straight to the venue on an aeroplane and the groom would come running from the stage to hold the bride’s hand. And they both will walk hand in hand to the stage. The bride sharara’s veil would be touching the parking lot as if a royal princess is entering the venue and after every teeny tiny step the couple take to reach the venue, photographer would be clicking them laying on the floor. As soon as the walk ends, the couple would become a mannequin at the stage so the photographer can take some breathtaking clicks, all the lights would be dim and the disco lights will be emitting from the background. The left and right side of the stage will be engulfed with smoke to make the scene more thunderous. And the funniest part is the people will be applauding the scene as a Bollywood movie which they have paid to watch. Nice! Now you don’t have to attend cinemas to watch a movie because Pakistani weddings are enough for the entertainment. How rich we have become Mashaa Allah that we don’t think before shedding this much amount in a wedding.

Now let’s calculate the cost of this goldbrick Pakistani wedding.

Aeroplane + Venue Booking + Dinner + Designer Dress + DJ + Lightning + Mehendi + Reception = Your Life Time Savings

And what’s the cost of buying the nikah paper and doing it in the masjid?
Only a small amount of money & lot of blessings from the Almighty if you follow the do’s and don’ts of Nikah in the light of Islam.

The choice is yours now!
