Pakistani content creators have made a big name worldwide because of their talent. Junaid Akram is one of them. He was born on 18th July 1983 in Karachi, Pakistan. After his intermediate, he joined his Uncle’s restaurant as a waiter. Before that, he also used to give tuition to children. He came across a lot of hardships at work but due to his financial circumstances, he couldn’t afford to lose the job so he continued at that place for one and a half years. During his job, he also joined a burger hawker to help him manage his stall. There a large number of students gathered to learn Maths and English from Junaid Akram.

Junaid Akram holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Karachi University. He completed his education in 2006.
Junaid Akram Career
Junaid Akram started his corporate career in 2004 as a Client Relationship Executive where he was responsible for in-bound calls and also worked as a medical transcriptionist. After working there for 3 years, Junaid joined Sante Pharmaceuticals as Brand Executive. After 5 years of working in a pharmaceutical company in Karachi, he finally moved to the UAE for better work opportunities. He joined a company “Century Finance” as a Business Development Executive and worked there for 3.5 years. As a side hustle, he used to do stand-up comedies to pursue his passion.
He led a limited life in Dubai due to his financial constraints. He lived in public places and survived on single meals throughout the day. But he never gave up and continued his work despite all the hardships. The best thing about him is his curiosity and motivation to work hard to achieve big in life. He never wanted to settle with a 9 to 5 job and has a strong ambition to do something great in life.
Journey as a Content Creator
Junaid Akram started his Youtube channel in 2015. He was in Dubai at that time. In his first video, he shared his 2 cents on “White People Vs Brown People” in his unique style. And later continued making videos consistently for 7 years. The best thing about his videos is that each one of them carries a great message in it. His videos are entertaining, humorous and relatable even today. He talked about the things that are going wrong in Pakistan such as political corruption, extravagant birthdays and wedding culture. Urdu Vs Hindi is one of the initial videos that went viral on the Internet and gained him massive viewership.
The way he talks about the social issues of Pakistan attracts a lot of eyeballs on his channel. Today, he has above 794K subscribers and a massive following on social media. Ask Ganjiswag
Junaid shared the first episode of Ask Junaid Episode 1 in 2016 in which you can see him sharing questions and answers in a random video shot in his car and with a simple mobile phone. After getting 12 episodes done on his own channel, he created a separate channel known as “Ask Ganjiswag.”. This channel is dedicated to his fans who look for Junaid’s advice in certain situations such as travel tips, relationships, problems in Pakistan, family life and many other things.
His fans trust him so much that you would see them sharing their darkest secrets with Junaid anonymously and asking for his advice. People look forward to his Q & A videos as they get to learn many things from his experiences. As of July 2022, he has shared 81 videos on this channel alone and will gradually make it to the century.
Junaid Akram Shorts
It’s the third channel of Ganjiswag to impart knowledge to viewers in a short and crisp style. He launched this channel in 2020 and has dropped 10 videos. The content in his channel is mostly about the history and perspective behind a certain thing such as you can find him telling the story of Adidas, Fanta and other interesting things in the most fascinating way.
Brain Massage
If you’re someone who loves the sound of nature and also likes to relax your mind with soothing and calming videos then this channel is for you. Ganjiswag launched his channel in 2022 to share the experiences, sounds, and insights for perfect brain therapy. This is an excellent effort and a quite different way to create exceptional content for people.
GanjiGaming
GanjiGaming is not so active yet but the idea behind this channel is to buckle up the esports industry in Pakistan. On this channel, you can see Junaid venturing into gaming while also making people learn with it.

Junaid Akram’s Clips are short, topical conversations from his podcasts. If you don’t want to listen to the complete podcasts, you can enjoy these clips and get the message from the conversations with celebrities, entrepreneurs, politicians, singers, and other inspirational public figures.
With his different channels and captivating content, he is going to touch a million subscribers soon on Youtube. However, with a massive following all over social media including TikTok, his followers stand at 2 million including people of all ages.

Junaid is said to be the pioneer of Pakistani podcasts. He shared his first podcast in 2018 with Faisal Siddiqui discussing why parents are against private schools. As of July 2022, he has created 120+ podcasts. The podcasts feature a variety of topics on culture, current affairs and interviews with young achievers.

Junaid makes a lot of engaging and humorous content. He knows how to make people laugh while also delivering the message. But the reason behind the continuous content creation and making money is to make a channel for children to make them watch and learn science and technology. He said in an interview,
“In Pakistan, children don’t have anything worth watching that can open their minds to the world of science and space whereas everywhere in the world they show great quality content to children which inspires them to explore this field. So the reason behind all my struggle is to make a great channel for children so they also have the opportunity to consume content which they deserve.”

Unlike other vloggers who cash their personal life, Ganjiswag likes to keep it private. From the day he started his online journey till today, he hasn’t revealed anything personal yet except for his son Hashim.
