Do you have your grandparents or any patient at home who finds it hard to speak because of disability? Do you want them to be expressive about their needs?
Well, now you don’t need to juggle between how to make things easy for them as there’s an app, Kya Baat that does all the talking on behalf of these people.
Whether it’s a disable person, an adult or someone who can’t speak due to stroke or tracheostomy, the app will do the job for them. Designed specifically for speech-impaired patients, this Urdu app is first of its kind.
Once you install the app, you only need to select the gender and tap on the feelings, actions, or things you need.
For example, in the interface there are multiple options like, what do you want, how are you feeling, drawing or writing the options, and many things. The patient needs to tap on it and the responsible person will do the job for him.
This reminds me of my tenant who lost his life because of stroke. He wanted to communicate but due to the loss of speech and helplessness at the moment, he suffered and lost his breaths.
The amazing thing about this app is that it’s clickable and easy to understand even for adults. You only need to educate them once and they can take its help forever. It has been successfully launched on Playstore and ready to fill the communication gap between patient, caregivers, and doctors.
This strong initiative is taken by a 13-year old, Ahmad Jamal Khan. He’s a student and developed his app while continuing his education on the other side. Indeed Ahmad had set a great example to follow.

His app also has some self-explanatory pictures to describe the feelings. Apart from the basic features, one can also use the emergency alarm in case of stroke or any other medical emergency. By using the body images, the patient can also tell the areas where they are feeling the pain.
To conclude it up, this app is quite simple, convenient and an excellent initiative to improve patient care for disabled people. It has marked a revolutionary start and with more support and improvement, the app will make great waves in the medical industry.
