While addressing the closing ceremony at ICEE, 2021, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the launch date of the Kamyab Pakistan Program.
Forty percent of Pakistan’s population is under the poverty line and to overcome this issue, Kamyab Pakistan will be the best model for everyone, said Prime Minister.
In this program, an individual of each family will be given tech education. The person will get training for the skills and education in demand. Families will also be given a health card with a limit of Rs, 10,00,000 which they can use at any hospital.
He further added that people from all over the country will be given loans without interest. It’s to facilitate low-cost housing so everyone can get access to housing facilities. This will be made possible through micro-financing which will make it easy for people to build homes.
At the ceremony, Imran Khan emphasizes the lack of construction projects in Pakistan due to which the country suffers. Forty percent of the people live in slum areas in Karachi, they don’t have the cash to buy homes nor do they have access to loan facilities. Only 0.2% of house loans are given in Pakistan which is the lowest in the region. While in India, the housing loan is up to 10% and 80% in the developed countries like Europe and America. This is the reason why poverty is on rising.
The Kamyab Pakistan program will help to eradicate poverty in Pakistan. It will create wealth and also strengthen the tax collection system.
The vision of the program is to transform the country into a welfare state and open a multitude of opportunities for people.
The program is set to be launched on 9th August 2021 on a large scale.
Let’s wait and hope for the program to take Pakistan onto a developing road.
