There’s no doubt that the current government is stepping their best foot forward towards Digital Pakistan. In a recent tweet, they announced a cybersecurity hackathon 2021 for professionals and students.
The hackathon will be in the following categories:
- Network Attacks and Exploitation
- Operating Systems Exploitation
- Mobile Device and Exploitation
- System Application Exploitation (including web)
- Speed Programming (C#,C++ and Python)
The registration will open from 20th August – 5th Sept 2021. Students and professionals from all over the country can take part to prove their mettle and become recognized nationwide. If you’re someone who’s fond of cybersecurity then this is a great opportunity for you.
The event is powered by the government of Pakistan, Ignite and also launched in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan, PTA, NITB, and NEPRA. It’s an initiative towards building a safe and secure digital Pakistan.
The cash prizes for the winners of this cybersecurity hackathon is worth Rs. 6 million.
Since cybersecurity is ranked as the 4th high demand technology, the opportunities are great in this field. With this hackathon 2021, the government of Pakistan aims to increase the passion of students towards cybersecurity.
