Things to Consider When Choosing Internet Services in Karachi
Does it cover your area?
There are some internet service providers who are limited to specific areas such as the coverage area for Optix is only DHA and Clifton. So, it’s important that you must inquire the internet service provider about your area either it covers your area or not.
Is it affordable?
Some internet services might give you superb quality performance but they won’t be pocket friendly. The choice of the service provider also depends on your budget. So, always look for the internet packages which you can afford easily.
Is it fast?
For some users, affordability doesn’t matter but the speed of the Internet. So, if you don’t want to be annoyed while browsing the internet so always be assure of the Internet speed before you buy it. If possible, try taking reviews from the people who are current users of the Internet service you choose.
Is it reliable?
A reliable internet connection is what a user always wants especially in the corporate sectors. If you want to stay away from internet interruptions then always seek an internet with good customer support. In this way, you can handle unwanted internet interruptions. PTCL internet provides fine services but the reason they are rated down is their poor customer service. So, the tip is to go for an internet whose team can assist you even in the middle of the night.
Apart from these internet services, Satcomm quality services are also appreciated by the customers. They don’t have an effective website and social media but customers who are happy with their services. Mostly, their packages are for companies but you can also inquire about the packages for the residents. You might find them a bit expensive but their professional customer support will make it worth your decision.
To sum it up, we would love to know which one is your favorite internet service, and why?

Connect Communications (pvt) ltd. The best Internet service provider in Karachi, why connect are not in you list. Connect cover mostly area’s in Karachi .
StormFiber is the WORST! not recommended at all, I had 20 mbps link and the max they could provide was 10 mbps.
Fibrelink is a cheater and fraud company. So plz dont waste your money and time. Jazak Allah
In the “Things to consider”, a vital factor has been left out, namely After Sales Service.
Why?
What good is to have a reasonable ISP when their Service desk is poor, or non existant.
I left Stormfiber who’s delivery was not bad, although it fell short of the industry standard of +99% Up Time, because of their Help Desk Service. Wait times were painfully long -as much as an hour, Staff lied and on the last occasion hung up in the middle of an enquiry.
Stay away from them and look elsewhere.
