Pakistan’s content creators community on YouTube is growing with time. A lot of web series are on its way and many are already up on the biggest video-based platform. But a Pakistani game show on Youtube is happening for the first time. And it’s by one and only our most-followed Pakistani content creator Junaid Akram.
Junaid as known as Ganjiswag is known for his passion to create a change with his ideas. He is never hesitant to attempt something new for his audience. Previously, he tried his luck with The Quickz online game show and now another game show on Youtube named “Ballooni.”
Ballooni isn’t like a traditional game show where you can participate in different games and win a lot of gift hampers. It will take time to reach that level. But for now, it’s a short game show where two contestants fight against each other for not letting the balloon down. The one who let it drop 3 to 4 times, loses the game. The play area has obstacles like a big and beautiful Vava Car, a snack table, and a sofa set. The mission of the players is to keep the balloon up in the air despite the obstacles. It seems like a great idea.
There are commentators like Momin Saqib who know how to keep the energy up in the game. Junaid Akram who’s the judge too makes sure contestants don’t break the rules. Then there’s also a referee to keep an eye on the player’s move and the third empire who you can call for review when required.
With proper rules and regulations, the game is an excellent idea and many people have come forward to appreciate it. It seems like the young generation was missing this kind of game show and when it’s up, they are finally happy to see it.
Like its name Ballooni, the game is based on a balloon competition and there are no other activities apart from it. But we are glad that someone has come forward with this game show.
It has many areas to evolve like adding some quizzes. Also, general knowledge competitions can invite some brainy people to the game. But we totally understand that people like to see entertainment and one can’t afford to make it education-based especially when you’re doing it for the first time.
The comments under the first episode are filled with appreciation for Ganjiswag for launching something out-of-the-box. The best part of the game is the players aren’t getting the gifts while sitting on the couches. They have to fight till the last round to win it.
Overall the set is captivating and fits best to the theme of the show. The concept is also unique and with the further addition of more activities in the game show, it has the space to evolve.
Junaid Akram is a comedian, Youtuber, and social media influencer. He started his Youtube channel in 2015 where he used to rant about everyday problems in Pakistan. With his consistent quality content and two other channels; Ask Ganjiswag and Youtube Shorts, he has gained a massive reach among his followers. Going candid on his IG stories, he shared his vision for making education-based content for children to nurture their minds with the knowledge they deserve.
With the first episode up on the Internet, people are waiting for the next. Let’s see how the game unfolds with time.
If you haven’t watched it yet, here’s the first episode:
I prefer books and diaries more than phones and Facebook. Soulfully connected to Pakistan. And I passionately believe that I can change the world through blogging.
