The time is answering it quite well that traveling to Pakistan is not as dangerous as it has been portrayed. The chaos the international media displays about Pakistan is baseless most of the time. It is a country of more than 220 million people. So, every day if something happens among these 220+ million people, the matter is given coverage and the issue is addressed and highlighted in the media all over the world. The fact is merged with fiction and that makes the news “Faction”.
Let’s go into some details:
Why Pakistan is getting so prompt and becoming the centre of attention? The strategic position or geographical and political value of Pakistan has made it a distinct chapter in the international forums. The right-wing countries have their agenda to prominent Pakistan in their meanings. Most of those right-wing countries are Western countries. The death is imminent! Either by a bomb or during periods of sleep on the bed. If we talk about violence and crime rate, compare Pakistan with only one country namely the USA.
These are the 2019 crime stats. According to it, Pakistan is far behind in the overall crime rate as compared to the crime rate of the USA. To conclude with Pakistan has some undiscovered dimensions to be seen from. For instance let’s have a look at an example of a cosmopolitan city, Karachi.
Karachi
Karachi is a junction of all the cultures that exist in Pakistan. The diversity of provincial cultures can be observed here. It is among the highly populated cities of the world with over 22 million residents. If we observe the growth rate of crime, in Karachi it is lesser than that in New York City. Then how come Pakistan is to be marked as the “unsafe” region? The nightlife of Karachi is famous throughout the country.

An important notification we got from the DAWN newspaper online is mentioned as below:
Off the red list
“THE move was long overdue, but it has happened at last. On Friday, the UK announced that Pakistan would be taken off its Covid-19 red list for travel from Sept 22. The decision comes as a relief to many people whose plans for traveling to the UK had been on hold since April 9 when travel for passengers from Pakistan (and other countries added to the red list) was curtailed, unless they were British or Irish nationals or had residency rights.”
Another factor that we cannot neglect is the COVID-19 pandemic and its expansion. Pakistani Government both federal and Provincial are playing their part in controlling the situation of havoc and chaos due to it. Although the death toll is increasing the spread rate is still far more below that of the neighbouring country India. People somewhat are not participating completely in the implementation of SOPS, which is a triggering problem for everyone and especially those who want to visit Public places in Pakistan. Without a doubt, Pakistan’s street life or outdoor life is quite colorful and lucrative which is the reflection of the combination of its cultural and social aspects.
Other than the COVID-19 pandemic, the rate of theft or robbery is also occasionally high in some areas of big and small cities of Pakistan. Keep that aside, we have a better dimension of the picture of Pakistan to look at.
Pakistan – A Hospitable Country
The people of Pakistan are the best hosts to travellers coming from all over the world. Especially, if they realize you’re a foreigner, they will serve traditional dishes and might also gift some cultural piece of art or cloth as a memoir. Such as if you come to Sindh, they will reward you with Ajrak which is a traditional cloth for the Sindhi people.
If you go to Punjab anywhere in rural areas, you might be served as a guest the milk and yoghurt shake with bread and butter. If you go to the northern valleys of Pakistan you will find a lot of fruits, dried or juicy both. Lahore is the heart of Pakistan. Here you will find history and monuments from the past even before the formation of Pakistan. Lahore’s street food and gathering up or meet up with each other is a fun part. The most exciting and lively people you will find in Lahore.

In the northern areas, with the cold weather and the snow you might end up playing different sports, like skiing, ice hockey, snow skating, and fishing.
Thus the impression that Pakistan is a Red Zone or at war region is completely false. 220 million populations are not living here with the fuss and enrage. It is a safe country protected by the no.5th best military in the world from insidious threats and outside ones as well. The war on terror is over in Pakistan, although the economic situation is disastrous still the people are surviving here, living their life here, doing businesses here, getting married, and so on and on.
Also, if you’re planning to visit Pakistan from a foreign country, there are many travel agencies, guides, and tourists who can help you explore Pakistan.
