Nighat is a 54-year-old mother of a 35-year young son who thinks her son is still a bachelor and can easily get married to any girl he wants. On his 35th birthday she realized that his son has grown young now and he should think of getting him married. First, she handed over this decision to his son. But since Khalid is a mama’s boy so he can’t marry the girl unless his mama chooses herself.

Now, Nighat is satisfied because his son is dependent on her for all his life decisions, even the marriage one. She’s happy to hold his rope. And if things keep going the same, no wonder if Khalid could ask his mama before having a child. Because mama’s boy you know!

So, back to the story, Nighat starts hunting for her daughter-in-law and asks out to three different marriage bureaus for his 35-year young guy. She is wealthy, beautiful and proud of her 1000 yards home so she thinks it’s her right to reject the girls who live in a small town. Her first requirement in Bold is a girl who belongs to a rich family or at least a middle-high class.

The second thing she wants from a girl is to be beautifully shaped with a thin waist and a fair complexion. The rishta aunty showed her a girl who was a doctor, tall and had a thin waist but she rejected because according to her white lives matter for his son. But to tell you one thing her son is a brown guy and he too wants a fair girl so he can proudly walk on roads with a story of how a brown guy wedded a white girl. Since Nighat wants perfection, so out of 15 profiles given to her, she rejected 10 with the pride that she deserves the best.

Nighat son’s is an MBA after a BCOM and works in a private bank with an average salary of Rs, 80,000/- but since she lives in an elite town and owns a bungalow, she believes any girl can fall down for this because after all what a girl wants is money. Poor Nighat, still living in the black and white era, she forgot that girls today are independent themselves and don’t take a man shoulder to rely on. They don’t want a man with the wealth but a man of value, compatibility who at least doesn’t ask his mama before going for a long drive.

Well, with the pictures Nighat is left with, she shamelessly dropped them on the table and asked the rishta aunty if she can show more beauties to her. And since his son isn’t yet old so she should stop showing girls over 25 years of age. Her demand is a 23-year-old who should have a Bachelor’s degree, must know the home chores, should be slim and tall and not to forget the fair complexion. So, she continued telling her requirement and Rishta aunty started sorting the girls that fit in her frame.

And finally she got a pic of a heavenly girl who suited well to the requirements. She asked Mrs.Jamil to connect her to this girl’s family. And they both connected on WhatsApp.

The message goes like:

“Assalam o Alaikum, I like your daughter’s picture and I’m considering her for my son. If you allow, can we come and meet you?”

The other side:

“Yes, sure but before you come please do share your son’s pic and biodata.”

The biodata goes like:

  • Name: Khalid Khan
  • Age: 32 (cut 3 years)
  • Degree: MBA
  • Salary: 1 lac (cut 20,000)
  • Siblings: 2

And message delivered with the picture.

The response:

“Sorry, we aren’t available for the meetup.”

2 years passed to this, Nighat is still hunting the perfect Bahu for her imperfect son. Have Mercy, Nighat Aunty!
