Do you want to apply for the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) Jobs and know about the Commission’s procedure and policy of recruitment? It is mandatory for all to know about the basic things of the organization for which you want to apply. Thus, to assist you, we decided to write an article through which you will be able to know about the FPSC Recruitment policy. Each organization has its own rule and regulations and guidelines for hiring candidates. 

FPSC recruits the general citizens for the various posts under the different ministries and departments working for the federal government. So, the Commission announces the jobs positions and conducts the test and interviews for the final selection of the candidates. However, the Commission does recruitment on a basis and quota basis according to the post nature. 

FPSC Recruitment Policy

Here is the detailed recruitment policy according to which the Commission hires the candidates for the announced seats across the country. Thus, read the article completely to get all the details. FPSC has divided the 100% seats of a post according to the following policy.

  • 7.5% on Merit
  • 50% for Punjab, including the federal area of Islamabad
  • 19% for Sindh (The share of Sindh is further divided into the following two categories)
    • 7.5% for Sindh Urban areas Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur (40% for 19%)
    • 11.6% for Rural areas of Sindh excluding Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur (60% of 19%)
  • 11.5% for KPK
  • 6% for Balochistan
  • 04% for Gilgit Baltistan & Federally Administered Tribal Areas
  •  02% for khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Other than that, FPSC also reserved the 10% quota for women and 5% quota for minorities (Non-Muslims). The Commission calculated from the provinces/regions shares except for the merit quota. However, the unfilled vacancies for both quotas are carried forward.
