Conversations with Kanwal is a digital talk show hosted by the founder of Soul Sisters Pakistan Kanwal Ahmed. In the first season of CWK, she picked up the stories of 12 women who were bullied, abused, betrayed and suffered the worst battles but they all fight and stand strong against their battles. The season gathered loud applauses from all over the world. Dawn News, Express Tribune, Samaa News and even BBC had clapped for the founder.
The season 1 left people waiting desperately for season 2 and again CWK knocks out the audience with the awe-inspiring trailer. It was a beautiful composition and the trailer was recorded on the local streets of Karachi so the content was highly relatable for the people of Pakistan especially women.
After having a trailblazing success of season 1, how can one miss the first episode of season 2?
It was such an emotional roller coaster that I ended up writing a review of it.
Before I head to the review I want to thank SSP founder Kanwal Ahmed for bringing out us from the rotten culture displayed in the morning shows. The founder gives a message that shows like CWK can also exist and it can be successful without adding glitters and glamour.
So, dear morning shows you can take the idea to rule the hearts of the audience through constructive storytelling.
Talking about the review the thing that inspired me is that SSP isn’t about women only, it also supports men who actually deserves to be there.
Now I’ll tell you why uncle Nadeem had inspired me so much. I also have a father who cares about us like our mother and I know the number of heads that down esteem his moral by saying, after retirement you’ve become a housewife.
But that’s not so!
- Fathers are blessings and the way Nadeem uncle brought up his daughter is an example of a caring and loving father. Instead of thinking about his 2nd marriage, he starts upbringing his daughters and he performed all the responsibilities as a mother does. He told how society treated him and how the harsh words of society discouraged him.
One thing I want to say here is that words matter, please choose it wisely. Your one bad words can shatter the soul into pieces and without your realization, the affected person can go in the state of depression. Please do think before you say something bad to anyone.
- Secondly, the way he stood with his daughters and gave them full support is the example of strong will. He wills for it and he did it. People, however, made his journey worst but the firmness takes him to his destination. So, no matter what your aims are, if the will is there, you’ll reach your destination one day.
- Thirdly, he ditched the mindset that daughters are a curse, he brought them up and invest on their education. Now, both of his daughters have completed their education and are happily married in their lives.
