One of the wisest booktubers of Pakistan who’s working on the “Mission Read Pakistan” with his YouTube videos. The channel “Book Buddy” is run by Shah rukh Nadeem who’s a corporate professional, a teacher at heart, and an enthusiast who loves to read. In his channel, he tries to revive the reading and learning culture to make Pakistan a well-read nation. He also talks about the trending issues and gives solutions in the light of books. With more than 100 videos on his channel, he encourages the youth to read. On his channel, you’ll also see him emphasizing the benefits of reading and how can one change their life through books. He’s one of my favorite booktubers who always motivates me to read and learn.
2. Eudaimonliving
Hira Anwer is a certified health coach, a lawyer, and a Pakistani booktuber who started her YouTube channel in 2015. Her channel’s name is inspired by the Ancient Greek philosophy “Eudaimonia” which means the good life or to live well which reflects in all her videos. She makes videos on the books she recently read books that touched her soul and books that are a must-read. Apart from the book talks, she’s also a lifestyle vlogger who shares the secrets to live a happy and healthy life.
3. Nashwa S.
From fiction to non-fiction to biographies and short book recommendations, you’ll get to hear all the real-time conversations about the books Nashwa had read. She’s a booktuber from Islamabad who loves to share her reading journey on her Youtube channel. She’s an avid reader who picks a wide variety of genres and reviews them on her channel. You’d also see her promoting books by Pakistani authors. In one of her videos, she has also shed light on the reading culture in Pakistan. Naveed Yar Khan known as NYK and Books is a Pakistani booktuber who started his YouTube channel with Urdu book reviews. He’s a bit disappointed about the diminishing reading culture of Pakistan and wants to revive it to make Pakistan a thoughtful nation. I explored his channel when I was searching for Raja Gidh book review and successfully found his video which led me to buy the book later. In his channel, he shares the best of Urdu books and his reading adventures. Besides that, you can also find tips on buying books and listen to novels on his channel. 5. Reviews with Usman
If you’re a fan of Urdu literature and poetry and looking for someone to light up the reader in you then reviews with Usman is your go-to channel. As depicted by the channel’s name, Usman shares the best of Urdu books with his followers which helps them to become a better version of themselves. The reason why he started his channel because he observed that people are gradually losing the connection with Urdu books which are full of wisdom and knowledge. He doesn’t read from A to Z but brings the book summary, lessons, and reviews in a nutshell. If you want to know about a book but don’t want to read word-to-word then opt for his channel. Do you love classics and looking for a relatable reader? Meet Reesha! Reesha is a booktuber from Pakistan who started her channel ‘for the love of classics’ to talk about the books she read. I found her through her quarantine edition where she shared some spectacular reads with her followers. She’s currently residing in Dubai, UAE. On her channel, she also collaborates with other booktubers to discuss reading culture and favorite authors. Bakhtawar Azam known as Book Bakht is another valuable addition to the list. She dropped her first book review video in 2020. Till then she has been creating great content for her audience in the form of book reviews. She’s a creative writer but loves to stay connected with her audience with her Youtube channel. Bakhtawar is from Islamabad and her book genre is vast and mostly includes novels, self-help, and books by Pakistani authors.
