The Plot
It all started with three best friends: Nayab, Mannat, and Haya who were tied in a relationship filled with love, laughs and togetherness.
Things were going pretty awesome until Nayab start getting butterflies in her stomach for Mannat’s brother-in-law Wajeeh.
Mannat was excited about this new, hidden feelings and was curious to welcome her best friend to her family. She even let the two souls meet to learn about each other at the ring ceremony of her sister-in-law and best friend Haya.
Mannat’s family were cherishing the ring ceremony of their beloved Haya until a tragedy hit them. The unfortunate soul Nayab was blown to death at the ceremony. The whole family went under significant trauma and was only left with inspections and never-ending questions of the society.
The air was still unclear, and then one blessed day the culprit Wajeeh confessed the killing to Mannat, and from that day her pins and needles journey started.
She stands against the murderer and what she got in return were hate and devilment.
From fingers pointing to extra marital affair, she was blamed with everything, and finally, Wajeeh got successful in convincing his family that Mannat is the black sheep of the family and want to break all the knots tied with love and peace.
She had no one on her side except her husband and mother who begged her to dismiss all this and kill the rising emotions. Regardless of all the hate she receives, she stood firm on her decision and filed the case against Wajeeh.
But it doesn’t end in her favor and ended up in the loss of her unborn and her mother. This wasn’t all; the court declared her mentally retarded, and she was left with grief only.
All she had now was her husband Shayan who despite all the stages of grief, stood with her. But what fate decided for her was harsher then she could have imagined.
Wajeeh killed her only support, her husband, and this ignites the power in her. The power to jolt back, the power to fight, the power to get justice.
Her passion unveils with the days passing, and since she had nothing to lose, so justice becomes her only end goal.
She gathered all bits and pieces and reopened the case for her friend, husband, mother, and newborn’s justice and at last end up winning it. But the journey took her everything.
Things It Taught Us
The thing that turned Wajeeh into a culprit was his own elder brother who despite knowing all this stood by his side and did his best to hide his evil intentions.
- The lesson to learn is that if you see your child or your younger sibling doing wrong, never support them. You never know when you can perpetuate them to become a monster.
Mannat stood firm despite all the atrocities, her power was irresistible.
- You can’t challenge the woman, Allah has blessed her with so much power that once she becomes firm, she achieve it at all cost.
Mannat fights, break herself, she fights again, she lost everything, she stands with more power, and she finally takes the applause.
At last, the best thing was the dialogue of Wajeeh in prison.
